Current members are Angelle Sanford (Vocals) and Javier J. Rincones (Guitar). Sweet City Avenue formed originally in March 2008 when a former bandmate of Javier's introduced them through email. At the time, Angelle was looking for band members and Javier was interested in a different direction in music.They are currently in production of their CD titled, "After The Rain" which is a compilation of songs based on their individual journeys through life, love, career, and everything in between. The CD will be available this Spring. We will post details as they come in the updates section. news and blogUpdated 03.04.2010NEWSOPEN MIC NIGHT JAM TONIGHT!Sweet City Avenue will be performing TONIGHT (3.04.2010) at Casbeer's at the Church in downtown San Antonio. They will be performing during Brother Dave's Open Mic Night along with their sit-in percussionist, Bobby Z! Come out and see them perform live between 8-10pm!ALBUM PRODUCTIONCurrently, Sweet City Avenue is working on the production of their first duo album, titled "After The Rain", which will include 12-14 tracks, which will not be all acoustic. They will be adding bass and percussion to most of the tracks. We're anxious to let you hear some of their upcoming music, and we have JUST ADDED new music today (3/04)!
